Perma Kultcha Documentary

Perma Kultcha is an informational and educational documentary about permaculture in South Africa.  The film showcases permaculture initiatives from around the country, from Johannesburg to Cape Town, KwaZulu Natal to the Klein Karoo, and reveals the diverse ways that permaculture is being applied in South Africa.  The film visits urban gardens, rural training centers, organic farms, schools-based permaculture projects, community environmental education initiatives, sustainable food markets, and more.  Consulting with a range of South African permaculture experts and practitioners, the film demonstrates the many ways permaculture can be applied to address issues like food security, community economic empowerment, and climate change.  In this way, Perma Kultcha provides the a vision of how we can live in harmony with our environment, and build a sustainable South Africa.

Perma Kultcha was recently screened at the Natural & Organics Expo in Cape Town, and will be available soon for distribution.  Please contact Afristar if you are interested in finding out how to receive a copy!
